If you've detected a peculiar phone number on your telephone, phone bill, or Caller I.D. and would like to make certain who owns it, the most simple way to do this is by using a Reverse Directory. How Businesses Are Checked
The way we check each program is elementary: We test, test, than test some more. After rigorously testing every reverse directory business we could pin point (39 in all), We looked up 100 commercial, residential, cell, and unlisted phone numbers on each (that's 400 numbers total).
This was the only way we could know for certain we're giving you the no ifs ands or buts best on the whole internet. Our Shocking Discovery
Not unexpectedly, we identified that most of the businesses we checked simply did not divulge the information that they claimed they would.
The majority of the services broadcasted the name itself, with some divulging only a last name and a list of "possible" first names. These names were often coupled with an address that was outdated or incorrect, if that information came up at all.
With claims of being able to give full name, address or company of the individual we looked up, we were distressed to notice that in most cases after all was said and done, we could have dicovered the same information in the local phone book!
Although most of the services we reviewed fell short of our expectations, we did manage to identify a few services that truly exceeded the crowd. These gave us nearly all the information we were looking for... the full correct name and address of almost all individuals tested on.
